Dr. Katrina Brown-Bankins, is the Founder and Owner of BCC, LLC. Dr. Bankins received her Bachelor of Arts Degree (1995) and Master of Arts Degree (1997) in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from Hampton University, in addition to a Doctorate of Philosophy in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Howard University (2003).
Dr. Brown-Bankins has over 17 years of experience diagnosing and treating children and adults with a variety of communication disorders, including stuttering, autism, articulation and language, voice, aphasia, and dysphasia, in addition to others. Dr. Brown-Bankins has also taught as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communicative Sciences and Disorders at Hampton University (2003-2007), where she currently serves as an Adjunct Faculty Member (2010- present).
She has been a certified member of the American Speech and Hearing Association since 1997 and has held licenses to practice in the states of South Carolina, Maryland, Virginia and currently Tennessee.
